Traditional and age old technique of crafts ,Hand block printing is one such technique, it involves sculpting or carving the design on a wooden block, dipping this block in ink and then stamping it on the fabric. Traditionally handblock printing was done on cotton only to make cotton sarees ,the invention of new printing techniques has given courage to our artisans to try these techniques on other fabrics too.
